numbers

18- that's how many months it's been since my baby boy was born. 18. It's almost hard to type it and I almost corrected the nurse at the pediatricians office this morning when she confirmed that we were there for our 18 month check up. YIKES.

72- the number of consecutive hours I was away from my baby young child a few weeks ago when his father and I skirted off to The Big Easy for a little relaxing, drinking, walking all over the great swamp that is New Orleans, and some much needed alone time. I (we?) missed Little terribly and I often caught myself saying "is it too soon to call again?". Little had a wonderful time with Nana and Grampy and pitched an all-mighty fit when they left. You'd have thought we had a 2 year old on our hands. He didn't cry at all when we left, but whatev, I'm over it.

Oh, and my all-time bestest friend in the whole wide world just happened to be in New Orleans the day we got there. How's that for ironic?

4- the number of molars that Little has cut in the last two weeks.

3- the number of teeth he is currently working on. Count 'em up- that equals 7 new teeth.

4,385,817- the number of very pissed off moms of babies cutting teeth during the largest recall of Infant and Children's Tylenol and Motrin (and lots of other drugs). Myself included.

0- the number of bottles of generic Infants Ibuprofen left on the shelves by the time I got to the store.

50%- the percentile Little is in for weight.
70%- the percentile Little is in for height.
75%- the percentile Little is in for head circumference.

1- the number of perfectly healthy, perfectly perfect little boys in the whole universe and he's MINE! HA! Jealous?

427- the number of extended family members that I saw at our family reunion this past weekend. Well, okay, not really that many, but there were a lot. And there were a lot that couldn't make it, too. That would have been A LOT of people. Good thing we were on a farm!

With Uncle Jon riding yet another plastic pony. He sure does love plastic ponies.

And yes, that is dirt on his face. Didn't I mention we were on a farm?

Stay tuned for some first-of-summer pictures and videos coming soon!!
